The shared grocery list for your whole household

kaidashi is a free mobile app for shared grocery lists, on iPhone, and in testing on Android. Whether you’re a couple, a family, or roommates, everyone adds what’s missing and sees the same list, live. At the store, you drag an item into the cart: everyone else knows right away it’s been picked up, and by whom.

CDid you get the milk?

No, I thought you did.M

With kaidashi, that conversation never happens again.

kaidashi is the grocery list you share with your partner, the kids, your roommates, or grandma. Everyone sees the same one, up to date, and knows what’s already in the cart. It’s free with no ads, shows live who got what, works offline, and keeps your data in France.

Features

Built for shopping together

What’s missing, what’s in the cart, who got it: everyone’s in the loop, without a single text.

Live, and you know who got what

What one person adds shows up right away for everyone else. No more texting from the aisle.

  • New items added by someone else show up with their avatar.
  • The cart groups what each person picked up, with the time.
  • Picked something up by mistake? One tap and it’s back on the list.

Add in two seconds

Type the first few letters: kaidashi suggests what your household usually buys and guesses the unit (bananas by the kilo, milk by the liter).

  • Scan the barcode: a known product is added on its own after 5 seconds, with its photo when there is one.
  • No barcode? Take a photo of the product: it becomes a cut-out sticker on your list.
  • Quantities by the piece, in kilograms, or in liters.
  • Got a recipe or a meal plan for the week? Give it to Claude or ChatGPT connected to kaidashi: every ingredient lands on your list, with quantities.

One-handed at the store

Press an item and drag it into the cart with your thumb. Too quick? “Undo” is right there.

  • Color-coded stores (farmers market, supermarket, bakery, pharmacy…) and a filter by store.
  • “Clear cart” once you’re home.

Even with no signal

No reception at the back of the supermarket? kaidashi keeps working offline, and everything syncs as soon as you’re back online.

Several households, your whole crew

One list at home, another for the vacation home or your roommates: switch between them with a tap.

  • Invite anyone you like with a link or a QR code, in seconds.
  • iPhone and Android in the same household, no problem.
  • Sign in with one tap, no password to remember.

Who is it for?

For any household that shops together, and for small teams too.

How it works

Three steps and you’re set

  1. 1

    Create your household

Give it a name, like “Home,” “Roommates,” or “Cabin”: that’s your shared list.

  2. 2

    Invite your crew

Send the link or have them scan the QR code: they join the household in seconds.

  3. 3

    Shop together

Everyone adds what’s missing. At the store, you drag items into the cart and everyone follows along, live.
